## Problem 5.6 Projection of Planes – An elliptical plate of dimension 140 mm X 80 mm rests on a point of its periphery on H.P. and inclined with it such that its plan is a circle. Draw the projection and find out the inclination of it with H.P.

* Step-3* From the notations of the ellipse, draw vertical projectors up to the x-y line, from these points of intersections, draw a medium dark horizontal line, and give the notations as shown into the figure. It is the front view of the 1

* Step-4* Extend the horizontal major axis of the ellipse in top view in right hand side direction and on the axis mark a point and draw a circle of diameter equal to length of the minor axis of the ellipse, which is 80 mm. And give notations on it. It is top view of the 2

* Step-5* From the notation a of the top view of the 2

^{nd}stage draw a vertical projector up to the x-y line and give the notation of that point as a’ and form the notation b draw a vertical projector in upward direction of some suitable length.
